Rei Kawakami is a project lecturer at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. She received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in information science and technology from the University of Tokyo in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. She has experienced post-doc positions at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, a visiting scholar at Microsoft Research Asia, and a post-doc at U.C. Berkeley and Osaka University. She joined the university in 2014. Her research interests are in computer vision and image processing.

I am a member of IEEE, IEICE and IPSJ.
